The Saint Paul Pre-Kindergarten Program is a child developmental center. The child’s development and learning is optimized by warm, affectionate, individualized interactions with the staff and other children. Learning is enhanced through the provision of planned activities appropriate for age and development. Activities are planned that meet the child’s needs in the spiritual, emotional, social, physical, intellectual and language areas, all of which are designed to continue the child’s development of self-esteem and proper positive attitudes toward future learning. The Saint Paul program fosters and develops a positive understanding of God, appropriate to the child’s age in the Roman Catholic tradition.


In order to carry out the philosophy of Saint Paul Pre-Kindergarten, we have certain program objectives:

• To help develop a child's concept of a loving God and an awareness of Him in simple, prayerful language
• To provide structured and unstructured activities to stimulate peer interaction, in order to introduce the children to different play things, art activities and art media.
• To teach awareness of the world around us and to introduce weather and seasonal changes.
• To encourage expressive language; to extend and to reinforce language skill; to develop listening skills; to develop self confidence and self-esteem.
• To introduce number concepts, number sequencing and shapes.
• To teach name recognition (in the Pre-K 3 program) & letter recognition and sequencing (in the Pre-K 4 program).
• To develop gross motor skills through creative outdoor play or through group games in the school gym.
• To begin the ongoing development of fine motor skills.
• To learn new songs and develop an appreciation for music.
• To learn an appreciation for literature as well as listening skills; to retell story events from memory recall.
• To develop proper social manners.

Pre-K 3: $1,900.00 (2 days per week) 8:30-11:30
Pre-K 4: $2,300.00 (3 days per week) 8:30-11:30

Pre-K 4: $3,800.00 (3 days per week) 8:30-3:00
Pre-K 4: $4,200.00 (4 days per week) 8:30-3:00
Pre-K 4: $4,500.00 (5 days per week) 8:30-3:00

Once accepted, a $300 tuition deposit is required to reserve the child’s place in the program. This deposit is non-refundable – no exceptions.


Registration is held in January for the following school year. Preference is given to families with children already enrolled at Saint Paul School and Saint Paul parishoners. Saint Paul School does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, cultural or ethnic background. A non-refundable $25 application fee is due at the time of registration.
